What is PBIS?
What is PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. When implemented with fidelity, PBIS improves social emotional competence, academic success, and school climate. It also improves teacher health and wellbeing. It is a way to create positive, predictable, equitable and safe learning environments where everyone thrives.

Simplifying 'Office Discipline Referrals' (ODRs)
Simplifying 'Office Discipline Referrals' (ODRs)
In collaboration with our Student Behavior & Support Committee (5/9/23) and our Behavior Task Force (6/1/23), we have begun to narrow-down our Office Discipline Referrals (ODRs). We have brought the number down from 58 overlapping referral titles, to only 7 MINOR and 7 MAJOR referral options that are clearly defined below. This information is still tentative as we continue to collaborate with our school partners, teachers, and administrators in order to finalize this before the 2023-2024 school year.
