ABOUT US

We are located in Calexico, California, a small agriculture city on the United States/Mexico border.  We are just blocks from the border and from Mexicali, Mexico where over one million people reside.  The demographics of our area are very unique.  We are located across the street from San Diego State University Imperial Valley Campus.  We are 120 miles east of San Diego California.  De Anza 9^th Grade Academy serves all 9^th graders in the Calexico Unified School District.   Our current enrollment of 800 students; are ninety-five percent Hispanic, with Spanish predominately being their first language.
