Dear Parents of Blanche Charles Elementary Students:

I would like to welcome everyone back to a brand new school year.  I am looking forward to seeing your children again.  This year I am planning some exciting changes that will provide opportunities for new learning experiences for everyone. I will give you more information once we start the new school year. 

As we start this school year, I would like to remind you again of the following.  As you know, the school provides all necessary materials.  However, if you still feel inclined to purchase school materials for your child, let me make some suggestions on items that would enhance your child’s learning without spending too much money.  Good choices for materials would be:

1)  a small (10”x12”) whiteboard                    2)  dry erase pens for the whiteboard

3)  pencils and erasers                                 4)  Please avoid toys or novelty items

If anything else is needed, please wait for a note from the teacher.  I am looking forward to working with you for your child’s academic success.

Estimados padres de alumnos de la Escuela Primaria Blanche Charles:

Quiero darles la bienvenida a un año escolar nuevo.  Estoy ansiosa por ver a sus hijos de nuevo.  Este año estoy planeando unos cambios emocionantes que serán oportunidades para nuevas experiencias de aprendizaje para todos.  Les daré más información ya que empiece el año escolar nuevo.

Al empezar este año escolar, quisiera volver a recordarles de lo siguiente.  Como ustedes ya saben, la escuela provee todo material necesario. Sin embargo, si ustedes aun sienten el deseo de comprarle materiales a su hijo(a), déjeme hacerle unas sugerencias de artículos que le realzarán el aprendizaje a su hijo(a) sin gastar mucho dinero.  Estos serían:

1) un pizarrón blanco (10”x12”)   2) plumones de tinta seca para el pizarrón

3) lápices y borradores             4) Por favor evite comprar juguetes o artículos de novedad.

Si algo más se necesita, por favor espere que le avise el maestro o maestra. Espero trabajar con ustedes para el éxito académico de su hijo(s).
